Seven hotels in the centre of Nantes, close to the conference venue, may fit your needs.

70 double bedrooms have been pre-booked on behalf of ICOD2 (offer is valid until March 2024).

You can confirm your booking directly with the hotel, stating that you are attending the Nantes Université ICOD2. Please note that the number of rooms is limited. Rooms will therefore be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Venue - Nantes Université Bias I and II
Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy

The Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy are located in the heart of the city. The two buildings Bias I and Bias II face each other.

You will be able to walk from the conference area to your respective hotels.

Please note that participants welcome, breaks and posters sessions will be held in the Bias I Hall, and that Plenary and concurrent sessions will be held in Bias II.

Nantes

The city of Nantes is located on the French west coast, on the banks of the Loire river. It is easily accessible by air and train (see travel page for further information)

Nantes is the sixth largest city in the country with approx. 320,000 inhabitants in 2020. It is part of historic Brittany. Its rich architectural heritage, largely inherited from the 18th and 19th centuries, has enabled it to be awarded the city of art and history label.

The image of the city is the combination of these different eras, symbolized by the chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, l’île Feydau, le passage Pommeraye, la tour LU, or more recently Le Voyage à Nantes.

The city is also home to a number of research and teaching institutions, in particular Nantes Université, which brings together the University Hospital Centre, the Ecole Centrale Nantes, INSERM, IRT Jules Verne, ENSA Architecture and the École des Beaux Arts.
